Not Hunting Turkeys after Noon

No I have killed a bunch in the evening usually between 5pm and roost. If you get one to answer in the evening there's a good chance he's coming.

Sometimes schedules dictate a hunt in the evening... better to be in the woods than no hunt at all...

I see it as, that after 12 pm, that is the turkey's time to feed, breed, and not be interrupted by me.

Exactly how the state of Missouri sees it too, albeit a 1PM cutoff.

Can't beat the sound of the woods waking up in the morning, and typically the most gobbling. But I've killed most my turkeys between 10-2.

I hunt them when I have time. I have killed em at all times of the day. I will say this. Several years back when my father was living he owned a 100 acre farm in the middle of turkey heaven. One year I couldn't go any days after 9 am. The hunting on that spot was phenomenal. Was lack of pressure the reason or was it a fluke. I think it was the pressure.
