Who will be there? I thought I would start a thread for check-in, stories, photos, etc.
Need a place to stay? The area hotels are booked and you got to have a camping permit for LBL. I just booked the last 8 person cabin at Piney Campground for Friday and Saturday nights. It has 3 full beds and two twin bunks. It has outside water and is near the warm shower house in Sycamore sites. You bring your own linens/pillow or a sleeping bag. It has a fire pit with cooking grate and wood for sale on site. I have ear plugs for any snorers...and a gag.
If interested, shoot me a PM. Piney campground map:
I drew AREA 13. I've never been there. If anyone has some advice or spots, I am not above using your intel! I may bring a mountain bike. My Mazda crossover does not like some of their roads.

Tip:
Download your Area for Huntstand or OnX before coming. I had some LTE verizon service on KY side last week on ridge tops near lake. I have no idea about coverage.
Wrangler campground horse stables was taking reservations for 45 minute and 90 minute trail rides last week. I took kids on a 90 minute ride and we really enjoyed it. Nice calm horses and easy trail for those interested. I had not been on a horse in at least 20 years.
I'm really looking forward to the public land hunt! Hopefully weather will hold and we can have some great action!
LBL buck kill:
Also, I'm going to offer a Black Friday special on my basic classic crown mounts to include return shipping. If interested, you could bring your rack here and will have it returned in time to enjoy for Christmas.
