If you are at Orange Beach or Gulf Shores then go to Perdido Pass (the big bridge east of Orange beach) and take a 1/2-3/4 oz jig head and get some Berkley Gulp Shrimp in New penny color and drag them along the bottom. You'll catch flounder and reds this time of year.

where at the bridge should one fish? under it?

If you are not using a wire leader or a heavy fluorocarbon shock leader you will continue to donate spoons and other lures. Most of the fish that will hit such have some serious teeth that will quickly cut your line. In a lot of cases your line will be cut as they strike at the lure.
