Ozonics

I have the scent crusher version of it before they got sued or whatever for it and i got it for 50 dollars. Does it work some yeah maybe. But at the end of the day a deer down wind is going to smell you unless they don't care or you get lucky. I've also been told ozone can be dangerous to your health dont have a clue if that is true or not. I haven't used it in several years and won't this year either. There's no magic out there to fool a deers nose.

I have one. Think I bought it 3 or 4 years ago. I know I didn't use it at all last year. Have used it a few times when hunting a stand that was iffy on the wind. I do believe they work. I know some think they're a gimmick but I've seen firsthand that they work. I just don't hardly ever use it. I have enough stands set up for different winds that I can jump around. Can't remember which model I have. HR300 maybe ? I would probably sell it if you're interested.

As far as use in a tree stand no I do not think they are very effective. In a blind they are very effective but you will need to open a window down wind still to allow ozone to escape. It can be toxic / irritating to your lungs. Best use for them I have found is dry washing clothing with them. They are very effective at removing scent from clothing and gear. Be careful with anything that has rubber on it as it will degrade it. You can get plug in ozone generators for less than $100 for this type use.

I have a Ozone Generator,I use it but in a bedroom that I dont sleep in.I have read not to breath ozone because of the danger to your lungs!I do everything I can to cut down human odor but like others have said you cant beat a deer's nose.I only hunt stands that have a right wind!

Absolutely swear by it. I was a believer when I had a group of does at about 100 yards in front of me directly down wind. They didn't have a concern in the world. The battery died and in less than 5 minutes they were looking my way and then proceeded to leave. I have more examples that just reinforced my belief in it. After I started using it my sightings have more than doubled.

I use an ozone generator in a tote. The washer and dryer use both scented and unscented products. So I run 15-30 minutes when storing away. And the tote is ran outside on my covered porch. Nothing in the field.

Have you noticed any health problems since using it? Quite a few people on here say it can be dangerous to your lungs

i use an small rechargable ozone generator in my totes to treat my clothes. never used an ozonics so can't give first hand experience. my opinion on them is that if a deer is downwind, maybe, just maybe it will give you enough time to draw a bow and shoot or get a rifle shot off but i wouldn't bank on it being foolproof because of how good a deer can smell. as far as ozone goes though, its used in multiple applications, most commonly that i'm aware is killing bacteria in wastewater. i also dont use cover scents like fresh earth, or coon pee, or anything. just my 0.02

I use one and I am a firm believer. I hunt public land and the public land I hunt you are assigned an area (Fort Campbell) for lack of a better term. So an area that you know really well where there are different setups for the wind may not be available. And walking in blind trying to find a tree in the dark in an area is not the perfect way to play the wind so I use the ozonics to my advantage. And obviously I could have spooked deer that I never saw but I can not recall a deer being down wind and blowing me out. Now I am anal about scent control and I hunt high but I have had deer straight downwind in a field at 25-30 yards and been fine. I hunt from a climber only and I have read about the negative effects on your lungs but I am fine and been using it for about 6 years or so. Never used it in a blind but honestly would be less inclined to do so because of possible health risks, also when the winds are swirling you can't manipulate it in a blind like you can screwed into the tree.
