yup, a seek one kill of a neighborhood bull.Lots of "chatter" about this elk. Supposedly, while it was a "legal" kill, the bull was a well know visitor to a neighborhood that feed alfalpha hay for the elk. This elk was either killed in the subdivision or boarding land.
the truth is probably somewhere in the middle. For sure the guy has killed some absolute monster elk/deer in his lifetime.

That's sad if true. A bull of that magnitude deserved to be beat in his terrain and not a backyard near the swing set. Again if true. Regardless it's a heckuva bull.Lots of "chatter" about this elk. from what i've read, you could take the cash for a guided hunt around the Grand Canyon on tribal land, and go on an African safari and have $$$ left over, sort of like horseback hunts for Dall/Stone rams in Alaska/British Columbis, or desert bighorns in Mexico. not a normal hunt.from everything I've ever heard, those trips can be quite expensive. Maybe someday.
Just a regular plains game hunt is about the same price as a Montana guided elk hunt. Transportation prices are the expensive part of Africa.from what i've read, you could take the cash for a guided hunt around the Grand Canyon on tribal land, and go on an African safari and have $$$ left over, sort of like horseback hunts for Dall/Stone rams in Alaska/British Columbis, or desert bighorns in Mexico. not a normal hunt.
