Yesterday was a perfect day! I caught one of the biggest crappie (if not the biggest) of my life, got to hang with some of my favorite fishing buds and then this super-slab crappie won me some money at the Highland Sportsman Club Crappie Tournament. Doesn't get much better than this! #lifeisgood #WheresRichard
FYI, with nighttime temps still dipping to low 30's, the water temps on Chickamauga are still in mid-50's. The crappie are just on the verge of busting wide open, but not there yet. When we get a few more warm days and nights, things are going to bust wide open!
