Pistols from Turkey

For the money they are hard to beat if you want a classic... if you are just looking for a high cap 9mm, there are a lot of choices in that price range. I have plenty of plastic guns and I like the classics personally. I will say, if you can go and hold one in your hand. I did this and it sold it for me but for someone who has big hands, they might find the grip small and the trigger too close to the grip in comparison to something glock like...
I have plenty of high cap "modern" pistols. That is one of the reasons I haven't ever bought one. I don't really "need" it. My quandary is do I buy a copy or get the real thing. The Springfield is supposedly improved some of the original's flaws.

I certainly do not need it either... The Inglis is the same as the Springfield... It does not have a magazine disconnect so the magazine will drop free and it will fire without a magazine inserted... I have read that the the magazine disconnect was a requirement of the Belgium army at the time but it has been done away with now. It also have the "non bite" hammer instead of the spur. I did not have any "bites" from the hammer so I guess the hammer works that way as well.
Just something fun to play with I guess till I finally get tired of it and want something else...

Turkey is a terrorist nation. They harbor terrorist and grow them. As an American veteran, I vehemently refuse to knowingly purchase, endorse or in any way support anything from there.
Dou you support Lockheed, Raytheon, General Dynamics, and Boeing?

Every government is a terrorist organization.

Have you really thought about that statement very much? How far do you take it? what about stuff made in China?... where does the oil come from that your car runs on? most things for sale in this country are produced in countries that hate America or have people in them who hate America. Pakistan is consider an Ally of the US and of Nato. Certainly there are people in that country (and government probably) who support terrorism but could not the same be said for the US? there are people in the USA who support terrorist as well... There are people born and raised here in the US that hate America and would love to see it collapse and fight against it. You could even say the same for the people robbing this country blind and letting in all the illegals and who do not uphold the laws of the nation we live in... It is your right to not buy something from a particular country but we should admit that we all buy stuff from countries that either directly support terrorism or have people in them that support terrorism.

As far as we can. And some of us don't have to dwell on the statement much at all. At 70 years old I used to be able to buy American made in most things. I can't do that anymore and it's damaged my country and the working class. I can't buy a TV, a phone, a computer, a camera, or many other things made in America. And if I took all the foreign parts off my Harley; it probably wouldn't start. That doesn't mean I have to accept it. Thank God we now have a President that doesn't accept it either. MAGA.

But I can buy American made guns. I'm a Veteran also, a Patriot and I support @10mm4me for his views. We need more like him.

Several years back, bought a 12ga shotgun, made in turkey, semi-auto. Ran a number of shells through it and did good. My son-in-law came over to do some shooting on our range. He wanted to try the Turkish shotgun. He fired a number of rounds through it, and then the fun went to hell! We don't know what caused it and neither did the manufacturer, who didn't seem to give a crap either. When he fired another shell the damned thing exploded and blew out the receiver and destroyed the magazine also. He was very fortunate as his arm was just badly bruised from the shrapnel!
Now here's my theory, when it comes to firearms, I'll stick to name brand and spend the extra dollars. The manufacturer did send us a new shotgun, which I disassembled and melted down in my forge!

I just bought yet another gun made in Turkey... an Inglis P35. Browning High Power clone. took it to the range today and love it... not the first failure of any kind and shoots great. incredible gun for 429...

That's nice I gave 450ish for my girsan high power clone
I was going to buy Springfield but Springfield had a bunch of problems with extractors or something no such problems with the old cheap Turkish gun 🤣

Everyone is always saying by American
I completely agree and understand but..

Should we continue to buy Chevrolets, fords,Dodge etc even though they hadn't put a decent vehicle out in about 20 years should we just give them our money just because they are an American company or should we buy a Toyota where the home corporation is in Japan?
I mean it's tough If I told you I bought something just because it was American but it was a piece of s*** over some import 9 out of 10 people would say damn are you a retard?
You know they got to pick up the pace at the very least with quality I mean it's not like s*** made in America cost twice as much and it's even half as good

I guess the moral of that story is it's not always just the price I can't afford to support American companies that sell garbage I can't do it

We may not always see eye to eye, and that's okay. I am also a veteran, ans I want to thank you for making that statement. I also buy American when available, which is not available enough. You know people piss and moan about all these foreign parts/products being junk, then compare American price to the foreign part, then buy the cheapest, and they wonder why American jobs went out the door. I read an article the other day where Honda is going to build 90% of their vehicles in the USA. Also Nvidia & AMD are going to do the same.

Yeah and you know what's sad about that The quality is going to go down
And that's fact
It sucks doesn't it

I've heard and read the same thing about VW, Toyota, Nissan, etc. having many problems with electronics, engines, etc. So that being said, if it's new, it's got crap loads of new technology, crap loads of sensors, crap loads of money to buy, and it's junk!

Take a look at the top 10 automotive manufacturers in consumer satisfaction
Sometimes it's not even that the vehicle has problems It's how the company takes care of you when it does do they even have the parts to fix it or did they leave you hanging out to dry?

Yes, and you'll find the same and many complaints about the foreign vehicle companies. Just like politicians, depending on who is doing the polling, you'll also find the top 10 being completely different. I've seen complaints about all the newer vehicles American and foreign. They are all over the internet. Especially Nissan.

Correct Nissan is in deep s*** Honda is living on a reputation they built in the '80s but Toyota and Lexus is always a good bet always has been
I mean where do we draw the line?
Youd drive a new Ferrari wouldn't you? About a new Porsche? M series BMW?
I mean is it only okay when it's something that doesn't have any direct american-made competition
I know I'll take a Beretta sig or HK over an American made handgun all day everyday It is what it is
