Sorry Doughboy.........looks like they are Tennessee's team...

https://t.co/26wyw8M0tB

By the way I admittedly have never been a hockey fan and will not jump on a bandwagon like some football fans do (clears throat) but the games are pretty fun to watch.

Just curious.... How do u determine if someone is a bandwagon fan if you don't know the person?? If you know them that's one thing. But to call everyone a bandwagon fan that likes Bama is kinda of silly on that person. I know u will turn this on me and UF but its a simple question that I would like to see how u answer.

And to the Hockey game... I never watch hockey unless I go to Nashville for a game (and that's just for fun) and couldn't tell u anything about the rules. But I do enjoy the playoffs.

Bandwagon Fans like Bama fans? That's Hilarious.

Nashville Predators are relatively a new Hockey Franchise in the realm of Hockey. 20 years compared to alot of the teams they play against who have been around 60-90 years. They have done a good job building a core group of fans and yes there will be the Bandwagon fans that are jumping on because they are winning. Watch them go dry like the Titans have and watch them disappear. Titans Tickets were being sold on the street last year after game 6 for around $25 bucks

They are bandwagon fans for every team, for every sport, at every level. It the does not matter how old the team is, or how long they have been good as soon as they stop being good tons of people jump off the train.

Bama has TONS of bandwagon fans, Like the Yankees & the Boston red-socks did a while back.

Clemson has seen tons of fans jump on board in the last 2 years, Everyone was a gator fan when Tebow was there winning chips..

Golden state warriors have a TON of bandwagon fans right now cause they have been the best team in the NBA for the last 3 years... you didn't see that many golden state fans 5 years ago... when Lebron left Cleveland to join the Heat & they won a couple Chips guess what? everyone was a heat fan. Now He back in Cleveland now Miami is once again not very good, guess what dont see anymore Heat fans around these parts.

everyone was a cubs fan when they finally won the world series again.

look at the braves fans now compared to the 90's

who ever is the top dog that year in that sport has tons of bandwagon fans including the Nashville predators.

I have no problem with bandwagon fans. Jump on. I went to my first predator game 8 years ago. I wouldn't say I am a hockey nut, but I can name most guys on the pred roster and tell you what icing is. Hockey in Nashville is new. Life long fans are 19. The predators have already done so much for Tennessee much less Nashville this run is the best thing to happen in Tennessee sports in a long time

A 4 to 3 win tonight and back home for the final game!

I just kinda glanced over facebook this morning and noticed the lack of posts about the preds.
I thought hmmm, they lost I guess.
Then I saw this post and didn't look at the time and I was like, well maybe they did win.

Holy Crap!
Looks like they took a whoopin for sho last night!
Maybe they can bouce back.

Wishful thinking on my part. Looks like both teams are better on their home turf. I think it'll go 7 games but with it ending up in Pittsburg it doesn't look good. We'll see. Go Preds!

Preds didn't even come close to matching Pitts energy and aggression last night!

Exactly, and that will most likely be reversed for game 6, but the fact this thing ends in Pittsburgh is not a good thing for the Preds.

It has been about 37 years since I saw the actual miracle on ice, maybe we will see one again, if they can take it to game 7... Cause I think that is what it is going to take. Go Preds!

Preds look like a different team away from Smashville that's for sure !

Oh well. They did good to get there and had an exciting run. I think that was a bogus call taking away that first goal because the ref couldn't see the lose puck and thought the goalie had it covered up. They also had several breakaways but just couldn't get it into the net. Hopefully they'll be back again next year.

I read lots of rumblin on facebook about how the refs cost them in the game.
I wondered what happened.

Read some stuff how the fans boo'ed the entire time the trophy was being presented too.

Yeah that was tough. The killer imo was the Preds had a 5 on 3 for 45 seconds and got nothing then 5 on 4.

Ummmm, not sure how the refs cost them the game. Hard to believe a team could go an entire hockey game and not have one penalty called on them but that is exactly what happened last night.

I am not saying the refs cost them but it sure would have been played different if they not missed the no goal call.

I will say that even as a lifetime Pen's fan, I hated to see that call on the goal takeaway. I believe it was a good goal but the refs whistle is like shooting a bullet. Once it is blown, you can't take it back. I don't know if he was right to blow the whistle or not but it was an unfortunate situation in an otherwise great game.

I hear you on the whistle, but IMO that is why you have replay and if the ref made an error you correct it. Today on the Midday 180 one of the guys said, the rule is the same in football, but how many times does a player finish a play after the whistle and the refs look at it and say ok we were wrong and overturn the call on the field, because the whistle had no bearing on the play. That is the issue here, in a game this big you can't just mess up and say, "well that is the rule". The whistle had no bearing on the outcome of the play. I doubt anyone on the ice even heard it.
I believe the Pens would have won a game 7 in Pittsburgh, but make the right call and if it ends up that way so be it, but don't leave a fan base feeling like they got cheated. I do agree the refs tried to help the Preds too, but they didn't take a goal from the Pens. If they wanted to they could have called goal tender interference on the challenge, even if it was BS.
Lastly Nashville is not a traditional hockey market, but it has hockey fans, and a team and with this run NEW fans (band wagoners or not) were there. The NHL obviously wants to grow their brand and the best way to do it is branch into nontraditional markets, but when you have a bunch of NEW fans that don't really understand the game and you make them feel cheated, you may have turned them off forever. Now if the Preds make another run next year, maybe they come back, but that is a big if.

Anyone that watched the series object fully saw that the Penguins were the stronger of the two teams . They just were !
