Well absolute yugo , I'm glad I wasted three years of priority points on an oak ridge hunt that has an hundred extra permits after the draw That place must be grossly overrated

Dumb question I'm sure but If I get get drawn for a gun quota hunt can I use a muzzleloader since it's during muzzleloader season?

Shotgun or muzzleloader in that zone. But archery has its own zone and can only use archery.

Who knows. They have the same dates listed for antlered and antlerless hunts for zone 2.

Half the permits for OR are antlerless only, same hunt. They always have antlerless permits left over, no one wants them.

I listed all 3 buck Oak Ridge Hunts as 1,2,3 on both drawings followed by #4 Catoosa and #4 Laurel Hill. I drew the #4 choices because I had zero points I suppose.

If there are archery buck tags available, I might consider getting one this year and find a crossbow.

You was right…… I put in for the December OR hunt because it didn't specify up front while applying. Sure enough, 3 antlerless and 1 bearded turkey awarded.

If I remember correctly, where you apply on the apps does not specify. I always have to look at the Quota Choices ( usually pdf.) and write my hunt choices down, then go to the app and apply.
