don't surprise me a bit! if TWRA is involved, expect things to be screwed up!Same here. I never put in for archery. I also had two points and I'm seeing folks with one point that got hunts I DID put in for. Hmm....
Last year, they were available on 8/25If there are any when will the leftover permits go on sale?
I copied this from the TWRA news page.If there are any when will the leftover permits go on sale?
Look at the numbers on the WMA harvest report and AEDC is always at or near the top. It is mostly flat hardwoods with some pine and a few fields mixed in. Close to Woods Reservoir and UTSI there are some drawers/hollows but they are not that deep. It's a big place but there are lots of roads running through it. Just remember it is on Arnold Air Force Base so don't speed and obey the safety zone areas.I got the same day at AEDC. It was the last of my choices. Lol. I've never been there and I know nothing about it. I was looking for adventure and I guess I got one.
Care to share them?We missed it with 12 points. We have 13 now. Quota lady sent me the updated numbers.
Did you have points?I was drawn for the Oak Ridge shotgun 11/12-11/13. I've never hunted in zone 1, but excited to try it out. Best of luck to everyone.
Yes sir. 3 pointsDid you have points?
That is amount of people with each point. It is up to date. Quota lady emailed it to me. Disregard the commas. I forgot why she said those were in there between the numbers. Like 17 people have 14 points. Not sure what I'm looking at. Is that before or after this year's draw?
That makes more sense. I couldn't figure out with the commas. That is amount of people with each point. It is up to date. Quota lady emailed it to me. Disregard the commas. I forgot why she said those were in there between the numbers. Like 17 people have 14 points.
How many points did you have going in?Yuchi 11/12 and 11/13. Never been there before but have heard a lot of good things!
Excellent advise! And stay on stand as long as you can. Let the other hunters move deer to you!Look at the numbers on the WMA harvest report and AEDC is always at or near the top. Best advise I can give you is find where a thicket and hardwoods meet, get on the down wind side and stay put. They will venture out of the thickets after a couple of hours.
