Quota Hunt Results:

That should be a good one if it's not cancelled again. I'm guessing it will be cancelled.

I drew Oak Ridge also, and think it will be canceled too. If they'll cancel a deer hunt then I can't imagine them having a turkey hunt, but I expected it before applying.
My boy got a point for regular draw and haven't received anything about juvenile draw, his last year to apply for juvenile too.

I just can't figure out why a few other select WMAs aren't draw hunt yet. They really need to be strictly due to safety issues. Its a matter of time before someone gets seriously injured. I guess that is what its going to take before TWRA sees the light.

Just my opinion on Yuchi with the question you ask Ridge on the desirability. It's not that it has a turkey roosted in every tree or anything but only 10 people get drawn on each of 4 hunts. This makes it hard to get but worth the wait if you live close by as it does hold birds. Again just my opinion.

Drew Oak Ridge the 23rd and 24th. Should be chaos. Those birds haven't been called to in 2 years. If they don't cancel it. Not optimistic.

I'm not sure what the hold up is for Juvy. Both my kids are waiting to find out if they get picked for any.

Just received an email, the boy drew Tellico McGhee-Carson April 17-18. He drew Tellico West two years ago but we got rained out the one day we could hunt.

Happy hollow for me....gonna go get a parking spot now and wait for all the others to show up.
Will it be that bad? I've not been to Happy Hollow before. I plan on doing a little squirrel hunting before the season is over to lay my ey s on this place.

1800 acres with a quota of 50 hunters..... thats 36 acres per hunter. Its pretty hilly and most access is from one direction. But its better than sitting on couch with no place to go.
