I get tired of the same ole bs about how people hunt. What difference does it make? If you wanna be an idiot and hide behind a fan on public ground go ahead. After listening to all the theories about the reel foot incident I'm truly amazed how sideways people get over a bird. I just don't get it.

People seem surprised that people would look to reaping to kill a bird... In todays society it's all about the quick instant gratification. Reaping is just the symptom of the issues, we put hunters that kill lots of birds on some type of pedestal so naturally young hunters getting into the sport look for a shortcut to that recognition... It's more about posting a picture on Social media and getting a bunch of likes than the actual experience of the hunt.
Good luck telling the kids how unethical it is to reap when all the "cool" kids on TV and Youtube are telling them how "cool" it is...
If you think it's unethical and detrimental to turkey hunting work through the managing organizations to get it changed, just bashing folks isn't doing much but pitting "us against them"...
The whole "ethical" thing is kind of entertaining, shotgun/bow, decoy no decoy, camo not camo... in the end none of it is ethical if you're the turkey...
