ANY TIME'S A GOOD TIME,
and a bad day fishing beats a good day at work!
:)

I recommend you go this week and next week.

I can only afford one trip, that's why I was asking between this week and next

I'd go this week.
Never know when something will come up and prevent a future trip.

Besides, EVERY TIME I go a week later, they always say,
"Man, you should have been here last week!" :D

I am in the same situation, I was gonna take a day off and fish but I don't want to burn a day of vacation and catch squat.

I understand the only way to know is to go and a bad day fishing and all that but I am waiting till next week.

Cold front = no fish in my experience.

When / if you do go to Reelfoot holler I might can swing to go the same time.
I have never fished there out of my boat and gotta believe I could whack some bream around all them cypress trees.

Ditto what woodyard said.
The wind has been absolutely brutal here for the last month.

I am sick of it.

We used to go when I was a kid about one time during June for the bluegill every year. That was back in the old reelfoot boats. with the Briggs engines.
Also used to go to Crockett Bottoms about once per year. Is that area still down there ? I thought I heard years ago that they drained them or part of it. Back them you could rent a reelfoot boat there. I was about 8-10 years old at that time. We used to catch a lot of bluegill back then and they went into a burlap feed bag.
The good ole days!

Yep, straight out Mt. Pelia road but I will be honest I would have to show you, no way I can tell you.

Turn left in a curve off of Mt. Pelia and then it would be by memory. :D

Last turn is to the right by a big oak tree, I remember that. :D

Probably gonna try to go next Wednesday if the weather cooperates

Crappie repots all year have been poor to fair. I'm not sure what is going on this year but I have heard Very few decent reports from Reelfoot this year. I have yet to hear the first report of limits being caught from a single boat. Best reports I have heard were guys that are good at jigging trees back a few weeks ago.
