I have 10 reveal cams. 2024 season I bought two "Reveal X-Pro" cameras. Both of them EAT UP THE BATTERIES compared to my other Reveals. I have read: I read: "too sensitive settings" - too many pics per trigger, short detection delays, etc. WELL, the purpose of the cameras is to catch that big buck as he walks thru the front of the cam. If set "too short detection" THEN you get the bucks back 2/3 of the body ... no head shots. OR if set "too many pics per trigger" THEN you may miss the buck chasing 20-40 feet behind the hot doe. ALSO, the new cameras are terrible with eating up TWELVE batteries in about 2 weeks. I can't go to my hunting lease every two weeks to change out batteries ... no to mention the cost. Very frustrating.
I have not had this issue in the past with my Reveals. DOES ANYONE know "the best trail cam on the market" today????
