People who know me know Im a big benelli fan and own or have owned more then most lol. Got an M2 20 years ago and sup'ed it up for a turkey gun and absolutely love it. Having said that my only complaint on it is the inability to remove the receiver to (like the SBE2) to clean and disassemble (not a big deal obviously but once you get use to it like on the SBE2 its such a nice feature).

All that being said Ive really wanted a SBE3 20 gauge but the big drawback has always been they didnt offer a 24" barrel on them which I wanted. WELL they released a version of it finally this year with that option and I just couldnt resist. After selling off a few things I had the funds to get it, so ordered it and should have it tomorrow.

Added in a sumtoy mount, burris ff4, taran tactical hammer and trigger spring, Indian Creek 562, and Grumpy Duck charging handle to go along with it. CANT wait to get it all set up and see what loads it likes. Ill post up some pics along the way

One mistake I made was I ordered that new Vortex Viper enclosed sight originally without doing my homework. Seems the SBE3 20 only comes with 2 drilled holes for mounting which wont work with that sight (could try and find someone to drill the needed hole but due to the thin receiver its not recommended to do). So Ill end up selling it or returning it, if anyone was looking for one let me know. I get a good deal on vortex so it would be below normal retail.

Nice! I wanted an M2 several years ago, but got a great deal on a Franchi Affinity 3 I could not pass up. I love that gun, but would not mind adding a Benelli to the arsenal.

I just cant make my self like an inertia system, good looking gun for sure though. Congrats

fair enough. Ive always really enjoyed them and how simple and easy they are to break down and clean (or even the lack of needing to clean) as well as the weight savings. They do add a little punch though as the trade off :)

Like that camo. My brother has a black one. He convinced me to shoot it in December for duck hunting. His POI is off. I should've shot my 870, she hasn't let me down 😂. Good luck this season

Very nice! I am considering getting one of these for my waterfowl setup by M2 ain't broke! Tell me about the trigger spring and hammer? Do you still have your other M2?

Yeah that was part of my original issue. I didn't wanna sell it so I had to figure out what else I was willing to sell to pay for it hahah.

I put those springs in all my benelli. Best $20 I've spent on them. Brings the trigger pull from 6lbs to 3lbs and takes about 10mins to change them out.

Yeah I put the Wolff spring in my 12 GA which was a huge improvement. Rob Roberts already worked that one over so I think the trigger was already done. I am not sure I want less trigger pull in my turkey gun maybe need more in case I get too excited ha. My turkey M2 20 is at RR so I want to make sure I get everyone I need on it done now.
