What was the obstruction?

Smooth bored past bulge and took bulge out of exterior of the barrel as well to keep from cutting barrel off

Good reason to put electrical tape over the muzzle after you load it every time.

I actually cut mine back years ago just to reduce weight and overall carry . It's nice and handy in the woods. I have a full size one for long range stuff. Neither one of them see much action because they are both so heavy and most modern ones are lighter and handier with BH209 loads.
