Turkeys should be afraid, taking the month of April off got trips slated to AL,GA,Miss,FL,KY,and VA. Not to mention here, however the lack of turkey sign I have seen this fall/winter in the mountains has me a little worried, but bet they will be around come spring.

I saw a bunch of turkeys yesterday driving to school. 2 big ones in someone's backyard and then a few out in a small horse field and then a few more crossing the road. They like it when it's just barely raining. Hopefully they will like it even more on april 2 when they hear my expert (novice) calling ;)

Ol Hook has toned it down in his old age.

All good/fun things must come to an end.

BUT...it wont take but one 'comment' and its on again.

Should get interesting as April nears.............lol
