THINKING OF SELLING ONE OR TWO OF MY HAND GUNS. JUST GOT A NEW ONE THAT IS EASIER TO RACK AND TAKE APART. MY ARTHRITIS MAKES IT HARD TO DO. THE QUESTION I HAVE IS WHAT IS LEGAL TO DO. WHAT SHOULD I LOOK FOR AND OR ASK. ANY ANSWERS WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

What are you selling and what is your asking price??
Move it to the classifieds, post pictures, and a price. Good luck.
Sell it and let LE worry about the details. That's what we pay them for. Let them earn that $ for once.
Three things are required of you…
You are legally required to check for residence and age.
1. It's a felony to sell a firearm to a resident of another state without going through an FFL.
2. They need to be 18 if it's a private sale in TN, or 21 if it goes through an FFL. (for a handgun)
3. You can't sell to someone that you know is a convicted felon. For this to be a violation the law requires that you knew or should have known.
4. Put it in the classifieds and don't type everything in caps.
