coaches don't do that. have you seen it? save it for the locker room.

they just lost to a top ten team because of a missed xp. and sarge comes busting in there telling them good job.....jeeze dude.

Agrees.... I have never saw a coach do that after a game. But since it's TN then it is a good thing that other coaches should do. Saban ever do it?? Meyer?? Les?? Harbough?? Nope

I dont really care if you and cur have never seen any other coaches do it or if Saban ever does it. Butch felt like telling App St that they played a hell of a game and bout whipped TNs rear, because thats what they did. Butchhad enough balls to tell them that to their faces.

TMS - it's gonna be hard to explain class to your current audience. you are arguing with a guy who has some sort of weird vendetta against UT and CBJ. there is nothing you can say that will change that.

I thought butch going to the other teams huddle was his best call of the night. if he told them them they almost whipped his teams butt and did well, then he was right.

Probably would have been more appropriate. I am sure the app st players didn't like it. The looks on their faces were obvious, but I do think butch meant well. I just wonder if he would have done the same had they actually lost.

my final thoughts on game

the biggest thing to worry about if you are a TN fan
is not being able to control the line of scrimmage on either side of the ball.That is not a sign of a team not ready to play that's a sign of a team that has major problems.
Now they were not as bad in defense but Appalachian state didn't run but 4 plays mostly but on offense the vols O- line got whipped and they couldn't just line up and run the ball. That spells doom.

I didn't get to watch the game,Vol fans,do you think they were looking ahead to Bristol?

No.... After the mid 1st qtr u could see all the flaws in all phases of their game. Dobbs still can't throw and looks like he missed tons of short easy throws.
