Shed season has begun….

majority still wearing them here as well, matter of fact I have got only one buck with a single antler all others still fully intact.

Went through look for other side of one I found earlier. Got lucky and found it this evening. Squirrels had just started on it. Most others still holding.

Want to know what makes a grown man yell "oh 💩!" with excitement? Seeing this ole girl come trotting up behind me toting the big one in the middle. I never saw it and never would have due to its color and darkness. She definitely solidified herself as a shed dog with this one.

Now that's cool. Good dog.🐾

I'm not an intentional shed hunter, usually find them with the mower, but I'll tell you from a taxidermy standpoint, it's been a "weird rack" year. Crazy brow tine growth, drop tines, etc. I'll post picks if I can remember. Last couple years have been very typical "baskets" but this year it's like the next one in is crazier than the last. Not sure if it's a combo of drought / acorns or what.
