Shooter !

He will push 170 gross. Not sure that he will hit 170, but he is a beauty! His tine length could be longer than it looks and that could get him scoring a lot higher than I think. I hope you nail him Scott. I'm not telling you anything you don't already know, but now that you know he's there, don't pressure him too much with camera scent and maybe on the 15th, you can stick him.

Is he with a bachelor group? Is he in an area that could hold him til Mid September?

I'm wondering how many more inches he will put on from when these pictures were taken and hard antler around Sept First ?

One camera spot is located in a pinch point that leads to a corn field , so I'll have to kill him early . The other cam location is just off an alfalfa field in a small wood lot . Both cameras , I can drive up to within 40 yards of at mid day .
He is running solo , but I have gotten pictures of a clean 10 point from one camera location .

He looks pretty much done to me.

And after seeing that base sticker on his left side, I would up my gross score some. His "basic frame" is upper 150s to low 160s.
 
Very nice.

I'm usually a little more conservative with my score guesses than some who are usually correct --- but with this one --- I believe he'll gross over 170, possibly close to 175.

So if I might ask a favor, please put a tape measure to those antlers and let us know who had the better guesses. :)

I just hope I'm blessed with a good shot opportunity . I'm guessing close to 170 gross too . He has 3 abnormal points that I can see . No matter what he scores , I'll be very happy ! :)
 
Very nice buck Scott! I know if he slips up and give you that opportunity you will make him pay
 
I really don't feel comfortable with judging scores until the velvet comes off. Velvet adds hugely in pictures.
