I am Road-Tripping in Florida (don't worry, I'm on the safe side). It has been a jammed-packed few days with some fishing and some "outdoor writer conferencing."

Also horn tootin' time! I walked in the shadow of outdoor writing legends last night. I collected four "Excellence in Craft" awards from the Southeastern Outdoor Press Association. 1st Place - Magazine Feature (Hunts for Warriors), 2nd Place - Weekly Newspaper (The Catfish and the Girl), 2nd Place - Outdoor Entrepreneur (Scenic City Fishing Newsletter), 3rd Place - Best Website (http://www.ScenicCityFishing.com). It feels good to be in this picture alongside some of the greats. The ones you might recognize best are Keith "Catfish" Sutton and Jim Casada (and me
