I understand you don't reward giving a top award to a losing coach. He did not even come close to sniffing the Superbowl. Equivalent of the Bad News Bears of Football. The Curse of the houston oilers is real.

He won the award because he over achieved without alot of talent. Its easier to win with better players. Derick Douley could win with 30 5 stars but it doesn't make him a great coach!

From what I understand greenbays coach was 2ed on the list.
And they did the same thing the titans did. Well besides had a much better roster, and a HOF MVP at QB.
Nailed it. The award is for effectiveness as a coach, not as a commentary on a team's W-L record.
Exactly. Just like the Heisman (a joke) was supposed to go to the best college football player in America. Not the best college football player in America on a winning team, or the best college football player in America in the playoff.

How would you prefer that comment to be assessed - as asinine or clueless? Having trouble deciding which one to use.

"Nope did not watch it. Have not watched a NFL game in over 5 years. Not even Tempted. I do follow some of the ALABAMA players and their Careers to see how whats going for them after they leave the College football program and some of the other top names in College football via news outlets but thats the full extent of it."
