Some gobbler pics from down the road

Unfreaking real. And unfortunately, a sign of things to come for the hunting world.
It's noting to do with hunting. Williamson county is a very wealthy area and real estate is sky high. Same with Davidson co but Williamson is a nicer area. Nashville is growing very fast and land is going up all around the Nashville area. Land investors from other states are buying up land all over the place and people are moving here from across the country every day.

I knew the price was due to the area.

I was thinking along the lines of people who are currently hunting in some of those type areas. We are already seeing urban hunting bans and proposals across the U.S. The more times these lands change hands, the more likely they are going to wind up the hands of someone who won't allow hunting access. And if these lands were in fact once leased for hunting, folks paying these prices sure as heck ain't going to be concerned with the few dollars they were being paid by a hunter. We know how good of hunting there is around Nashville. There is no stopping urbanization. The more folks that lose their hunting due to it, the more pressure our public lands will face.

That is the case in any growing urban area

Williamson has been the wealthiest county in the state for awhile... lot of country music folks living there.

Yep and now a lot of California folks and people from up north investing in land as the city grows. It's a good investment if you have the money to buy land. It's only going up

Ya'll have no idea how ridiculous it has gotten around here. My buddy just bought this turkey hunting paradise in Wilco to develop. Want to guess how much he's asking for 2-5 acre lots? Got denied on hunting permission dang it because he's taking his son this year..

Side note but I love those old stone fences.
