• Help Support TNDeer:

Someone explain why TENNESSEE is so expensive to deer hunt….

They do get zero help from the General fund. The leasing is a business arrangement with MVM and not funding.

Not too hard for most to understand.
its simple. does twra get any help from the tn taxpayers!!! and yes its hard to understand where mine and your tax dollars go to!

I dont recall pulling your chain. i guess you are a TWRA employee also!!!!! does TWRA receive tax payers dollars. that is the question!!!!! if
not STFU

Not a TWRA employee, also not a dumbass named trkhunter. Since simple English is beyond your comprehension, may I suggest you spend some remedial time at Reading Is Fundamental.

Ain't that the truth. I feel like someone got caught shooting one over corn and hasn't recovered yet. 🤣🤣
i aint never been caught. they can try but it wont do em no good. i have landover exemption. they cant take my license because i haven't had any in 10 yrs now. and ill be damned if they can tell me i cant feed when im paying for they damn new trucks!!!!!

You quoted the answer to your own question - no, it does not. In fact, the state charges TWRA to lease them the vehicles.

Pretty dang straightforward...
so the state gets paid by who?? naw its not straightforward. we the property owners/taxpayers are responsible either way!!

For OLD out of state farts.

Now that I live in SC but I'm coming to my son's home this week to hunt on his property. It will cost me at a minimum $200 for a 7 day license! So if I hunt just one day…$200! There is no discount as well for over 65. I got an invite to go to Jackson county in December to a friends place and that would cost me another $200! There is no annual non resident.

I mean did TWRA bottle feed these deer to charge this much?
It's $175 for out of state to hunt in SC for 10 days. Only $25 dollars less than TN What's the difference? I also don't get a discount for being 65 in your state.
