Theyre definitely following does.
They're seeing mature bucks in the open woods at mid day.
This was on a friend's farm in east central IN not far from Ohio.

His father in law is from there, & his best friend since childhood has a big farm. LOTS of corn & good woodlots.

Those deer up there have massive bodies.
The 8 point I killed a few years ago had an average rack but DANG what a body.
Took 4 full grown men to carry him out.
Huge.
