South Carthage ramp?

Is the water at the south Carthage pretty deep with no generation ?Thinking about going up there Saturday in my flat bottom with a 7 horse motor. Will I be able to run up with no generation?

There is a shoal about 2 miles upstream where you might have to push about 50 yds. With your rig, you might be able to idle over it mine draws too much water at idle.

After that you should be able to pick your way upstream.

FYI - Starting today Center Hill will be running the sluice in conjunction with generation so the current will be a lot faster. Use caution!
