Special Jig Request

I had a guy ask me about making him up some jigs in what I thought was an unusual color combination. After I got them put together, I kinda like it. Don't know if the crappie will agree.

I have a box full of that color. SC crappie love em! Haven't tried it here.

Tonights jigs = Squirrel tail on #2 hook and 1/16 ounce head

I have never had any luck with these kind of jigs, I must be using them wrong. I always have great luck with spinner baits. What is the best way to use these type, I am always wanting to learn new stuff.
