Spud Poles

What size pipe and what kind does everyone use for spud poles on a floating blind?

Depends on where you put the blind. If it's in a river i would use the heaviest thing I could find. If it's in a food bottom 2" metal conduit works. Some buddies of mine in Mississippi hunt in some flooded willows and they just tie their pontoon up to the trees. They have to watch the water level and retie if the water comes up or down.

We have a couple blinds in flooded holes with no current but are subject to a lot of wind. Both are old pontoon boats and float high on the water. We had to use 3 inch schedule 80 and flood the pontoons to lower and stabilize these decks.
