FYI Stoeger has come out with a 20 gauge, it's the m3020 and is getting pretty good reviews.

I was gonna save up and get a M2 20 as my next gun but may go this route instead as it's half the cost.

Anyways thought if pass it along

Sounds good but I believe I'd just save my money and go with a M2. M2 20 ga is gonna be my next shotgun purchase. I carry my dads M1 20 part of the time Man that suckers light and easy to carry

I have a stoger s2000 that has been a great gun. Counter sunk screw on left side of receiver came out last fall which allowed the bolt to quit working. I emailed stoger and they mail replacement parts at no cost. Great customer service and a heck of a gun for that price range. I have put almost a 1000 rounds through it before this happened. I still love my SBE 2 more but they are very similar

oh I have had the 2000 and still have the 3500. For the money they are awesome.

I really want an M2 but at a $1200 price tag it was gonna take me a while to save up for that. I am gonna look at this one when i can find one in stock and if it is built well like the 3500 and is priced right at $500 or less i may go that route for now. I really want an M2 but man thats a lot of coin for a 20 gauge.

If i went this way it would be a good compromise for 5-6 years till i can save up or find a M2 on a deal.

My goal is eventually move to using a 20 majority of the time for turkey hunting.

Looks nice. Do you know whether it's pre-drilled for scope bases?

Another option (comparable price to this Stoeger) if you're wanting your 20 gauge strictly as a dedicated turkey gun . . . . .
The Weatherby SA-459.
I've been very pleased with this 20 ga.

I simply removed those ugly sights, slapped on a Burris FastFire, and was good to go.

Another nice surprise I had upon setting up a 20 ga turkey gun:
Going to a 20 gauge also cuts off nearly a pound of shell weight between the fully loaded gun and a few shells in your pockets.

I always said if Stoeger made a 20 gauge, I'd have one. During all that time I've used a few light 20 gauge guns and they all had one thing in common... they all have a bite to em. The exception to the rule is a M2 20 gauge. It's light and felt recoil to me is non existent. It is now my main duck gun and it replaced a SBE and a A400 Extreme.
