Kids got me one for Christmas a couple years ago. It was the RevealX2.0 I think??? Seemed great at first but in hindsight just sent enough pics to make me think it was working.
It was set up over a plot. And it did send pics but not nearly enough to coincide with the browse pressure the plot was showing, so I set up an SD cams next to it and the difference was astounding. Last time I was there I stood in front of it waving my arms and doing jumping jacks. It didn't take my pic once. So all that time I'm left wondering what has it missed?
I don't know if mine just sucks or what because it's the only cell cam I've had, or will have. I'll continue with my SD cams.
If you ever put one close to a stand where you are hunting, it is amazing how many animals they miss. You don't know what they miss until you are observing it first hand. It is eye opening.
factsThey miss alot in my opinion. I have 4 running right now and get alot of pictures where a deer walked from left to right in a food plot and the head is already out of the frame
I like my GardePros for their flash range, but I've noticed they miss quite a few triggers as well. Can't say the same for the Brownings. The only time the Brownings miss something it's generally because the animal (or person) is walking straight at the camera. But then most brands will miss those.I was happy with them until i got a Gardepro. The flash range difference is double the range of a tactacam.
