Looks good, especially on that bird! Do you have trouble wrapping between the end of the bones and getting an even transition. I can never get it to look perfect?

I didn't wrap mine. I just sanded till I got a snug fit and put the plumbers goop to it.

I don't bother with making it even, just to fill out most of the gap between the bones.

Can you take a picture with 1 of those turned so I can see how the goop in the joint looks? Did you have to sand after you glued them together?

Main beam, I get the same gap, it's normal.... I guess you could sand down the bone if you like

Main beam those calls are long gone. I have the black one but you cant really tell anything about it because I painted it. All the sanding is done prior to the goop. After the goop your done except for painting or wrapping. I just leave the gap that you wrap on mine.

Ok I tried some gorilla glue and it worked good after it foams up you can shape the excess glue., when its tacky

Pill bottle turned out ok I guess, Ill have to work on yelping and cutting, but it has potential. Its excellent as a wood pecker call. lol

Looks good, did you cut out the bottom so the call is open chambered?

Yep, sure did. Figured out you can tune it to, just adjust the tension on the latex.

yep I usually have to tune one before it's comfortable and sounds good... sometimes I cut a notch in the reed for a little rasp

I got the pots from a friend. I am thinking about buying a lathe myself.
