Tennessee @ Georgia

What happened to Hurd. Was he injured?
I think he got benched for blowing the touchdown, when he trotted to the end zone, got hit and lost the ball. The defensive end should be benched as well for slowing down, and allowing the GA. receiver to catch the long bomb for a td.

Some may agree, some may disagree. I dont know how it plays out from here either but I honestly believe that this team has had Pat Summitt and her heart and desire to win with them so far.

Sure, other variables at play but I think Pat is with them.

If butch would have used clock the way he was should have on that last drive, that catch never would have been possible. These players are bailing the coaching staff (offensive) out big time imo this year. Hey whatever it takes eh?? A win is a win no matter how ugly. Vols could barely win every game by a miracle, stroke of luck and still b the national champs.

I think his a** got chewed

He was injured or he would have been in that last series. They almost blew it not running Dobbs on at least two of those plays. A first down would have put it away!

I think there plan was to play it safe, run clock out and punt the ball. I evem called it before that series, 3 runs up middle and punt. I don't think they had any intention of trying to play for a first down. This playing not to lose will eventually bite us and almost, a most did today.

So did UGA and everyone else. All Dobbs has to do is keep a couple of those reads instead of straight hand off. I like our chances better when its him against one or two, or Kamara against 5.

Well you don't see that every day. Fantastic last 19 seconds. Tn better start playing the first half as well or their luck is going to run out.

Yup, Vols are finally gonna put two strong halfs of Football together, and blow a team out. or not gonna show up in either half and get blown out.....

This team looks like they don't even try till they down 2 Tds then it's like a switch is flipped.

Best play of the game. Longsnapper Lovingood fielded the punt he snapped before it hit the ground.

When I saw that my first thought was that Neyland (and Majors) would be proud.

The Jennings catch was great. The Barnett sack and Vereen TD was great but the more I have thought about it, Lovingoods play was the game changer. If he hadnt caught that and downed it where he did, it would have been a TB and the sack fumble score to take the lead wouldnt have happened.

Special teams are where the breaks are made. Lovingood gets the gameball.

if you told me in july vols would be 5-0 and hurd have only 1 100 yard rushing game i wouldn't have believed ya

I agree that it was huge, but to me the 15 yd penalty on them after their score and the 5 yd offsides on the kickoff were the game changers.
