The Vandy thing popped up during our talks at work. If TN gets beat by Georgia and comes into Nashville with 2 losses...does money influence who wins that game? In other words...would there be money passed under the table to keep Vandy from completely eliminating the Vols if they have the opportunity. I would like to think the Vandy players would play to win and for pride...but I've also been around enough to know it's all business and $ rules.

I don't think it's the players. I think it's officials. They work for the $EC and the $EC makes $Millions having teams in the playoffs. For years I saw alabama get calls and no calls because they were the $EC's best shot to get in the playoff. There were times I thought the $EC office told the officials they would be fired, castrated, and tarred and feathered if they threw a PI flag on alabama. Of course my hatred of bama makes me biased, but when it's obvious, it's obvious.
