Now as to the game I didn't see it which is a good thing because they lose when I do. Was at a high school baseball game and checked the espn app a few times for updates. Looks like the Vols took a double digit lead and never let up from there. Hope they can break the curse and get to the Final 4. GBO!!!

Great game for VOLS. I really expected a run by KY but glad it didnt happen. Its wild to think we could end up with an all SEC final 4.

I'm disappointed but not pooch lipped because I know Coach Pope is the right man for Kentucky. Just look what he did in year one and now has the #1 recruiting class coming in next year.

I agree and will always admire KY b'ball, BUT it always feels sooo good when we beat 'em
.My aunt was the postmaster in Kirksey for decades & her daughter took over after her. Staunch, die hard, bleeding blue fans. During the last 10-15 years Rupp was there, my uncle would somehow get his hands on upcoming schedule a couple weeks before it was made public. He'd make copies and everyone in Kirksey got them in their mailbox. Heard several people comment about it at his funeral!
Not to poo-poo it too much, but that doesn't mean much any more. Most of the big name bball schools are spending their $$$ on proven, more physically mature portal players.
The days of having most recruits stay more a year or two are over.

Exactly. I have no idea who KY supposedly has signed at this point, but if next year's team is freshman dominant, they'll have a hard time making the Sweet 16.
TN will be hard pressed to do the same.

Vols were the best team last night but Kentucky played good enough to win 2 out of 3!!On to the elite 8 to play Houston!SEC is not just the best football Conference,it is now the king in BB also!Congratulations to all 14 schools that made the NCAA Tournament,cant wait for next season!

The Vols are gonna be shorthanded next season but hoping they will get a few great players from the portal!
If Barnes doesn't retire then he'll get some players out of the portal and be stacked. If he retires like I've heard rumors of then it could be a rebound year (gosh I sound like vols fans talking about football now
). Either way, TN is on the map with basketball now and more kids wants to go there now then 15 years ago. TN will be just fine I think.
