The bias is sickening

This is an outrage.

Tennessee has a top 10 win vs #6 Alabama and a top 15 win vs #14 LSU. Tennessee has the "best loss" vs #1 Georgia and a top 20 loss vs #16 USCar.

Alabama's best win is vs #20 Texas (good ole Texas sticking around this whole time to prop up Bama) and #24 Mississippi State who just miraculously happened to slide back in.

So, Tennessee has a top 10 win and a top 20 win. Bama has barely a top 20 win and ……. That's it.

Oh, but Bama is 3 points from being undefeated. Well, they are also 5 points from 4 losses.

But their QB isn't injured.

Going by the committee's OWN FREAKING CRITERIA Tennessee is way over alabama. The committee should just change the criteria to "whoever we want".

Bryce Young is injured and has been since the Arkansas game. It's likely injured worse than has been publicly reported which was a Grade 1 AC joint sprain in his throwing shoulder.

But that's not reflected in the rankings like Hooker's injury, now is it?
And we know who is in a better position if the backup qb has to play. We've seen the results of Milroe and Milton.

Defense worked some magic on hooker and vols offense.... worked the clock down and was in the right position to get the field goal kicking into closer position OR score a touchdown. BOB miserable play calling combined with some mental errors on indiviuals on offense failed to score either and gave a window for the vols to score and that is how the game ended. I have heard the sports talking heads justification for bama ranked above TN is because bama has better losses....figure that one out. Every talking sports head for the most part is talking the talking trying to sidestep TN for bama prior to tonights CFP poll.

From what I heard the commentators saying last night, basically the reason was that Hooker was out now. So they're actually not going by their own CFP criteria, but by trying to predict the future.

If Hooker hadn't been injured, we'd be in the 6th spot.

The committee chairman tried to spew some word-salad garbage when pressed which made no sense.

It doesn't bother me that Bama is higher than us, as long as they don't get in. The only thing to say is 52-49.


I, and most of the country, will be pulling for TCU and USC on Saturday.

Likely because Bryce Young is still able to play if he can manage the pain. Unfortunately that's not the case with Hooker's injury.
