The body of a 1st round QB.....

Winston is way too stupid and immature to waste a first round pick. But, just like always, some team will do it and will regret it in a few short years. Think of the elite NFL QB's. Winston has absolutely nothing in common with them when it comes to brains and common sense.

Winston ran a 4.99? That will amount to about 3 million$ per second that he will make . I'd like to see speedy do that well. Winston gets the money, crab legs and the girl. Peyton ran a 4.8 and Tom Brady a 5.24, not bad company to be in,but we know it's all about football knowledge .Mariotta has never called a play in his career and has only played from under center 5 times in a year. This is a good kid probably but will be working at ESPiN in 5 years.

Aloha redblood.

he may get some money, but he stole the crab legs and raped the girl. not sure that is something to joke about. But I guess that is the norm in your neck of the woods

What is not normal in my neck of the woods is accusing someone of rape over and over again when they have been cleared by 5 different law enforcement groups and judges. Dang redblood I just can't see how you know more than these people who have seen the evidence and spoke with everyone involved which includes her and her friends. He will get the money, which he deserves, and hopefully get to enjoy the rest of his career . This has to be a joke because you just keep on and on.I don't think you should let this whole thing take up that much space in your head.Well it's Sunday ,a day of peace and Holiness and I wish you both redblood.

Per @mikefreemanNFL, several NFL executives have compared Jameis Winston's football IQ to that of Peyton Manning.

Sorry they forgot to ask you Vermin93

the only comparable trait that Winston and manning have in common is speed- manning eve won that one

the only comparable trait that Winston and manning have in common is speed- manning even won that one

Could you explain to me how that 4.8 vs Winston 4.9 equates in yardage redblood. That can't be all you are hanging your hat on. Every thing else is bull.

I would also bet you Winston's first contract will be greater than Mannings, money wise.

In this tiny Internet neck of the woods, supposition and innuendo is the norm.

from Tapatalk-blame them for any errors or omissions.

100% right on this call mjac.

Actually, supposition and innuendo is pretty much the norm with sports talk regardless of what neck of the woods you're in.

baddnole - history is littered with examples of NFL scouts, GM's and owners who got it wrong with player evaluations and selections. It happens every single year. Given who Jameis Winston is and his "off the field" history, I believe the odds are against him becoming a top NFL QB. Plus, nobody knows how he will handle being filthy rich. There is no doubt he will be picked very high and make a ton of money. The question is whether he will be worth it. Many people believe he will be, and many others believe he won't. Only time will tell, but my bet is that Winston will not prove to be a good #1 pick.

I'm just hoping the guy can either pay for his groceries or at least send a runner with some $ to get them for him. Wouldn't look good to have an NFL qb get tackled in the parking lot by a checkout girl.

I only pay attention to the NFL draft to see who is taken by the Patriots, Seahawks, Packers, Ravens, Steelers and the few other teams that are consistently in the playoffs. There is a reason they are even though they rarely get to pick one of the "top 10" picks. They stockpile 2nd, 3rd and other later round picks. In my personal opinion, Winston will turn out to be a bust, but I also don't think Mariotta will pan out. That and $2.50 might get you a cup of coffee.

That's throwing a pretty wide net and hasn't been my experience. But I am sort of picky and choose those web venues that consider the facts. :pop:

Supposition fuels the sports talk business, so I'd love to check out these sports talk web venues that you're referring to. Please, do tell.

Meanwhile, there are multiple facts about Jameis Winston that not everyone has chosen to write off just yet. :pop:

You have got to be kidding me! Anything I am likely to suggest will only fuel further contempt.

Your bias is clearly shown in the second sentence above. Multiple facts and not everyone, really? I'll wait for another movie. :pop:

Jameis Winston will be the first pick in the NFL draft. For all you people in the know and have studied the NFL process::::::::::

I don't think so. ALL the new hires have ties to the spread offense and even orego. We saw Winston run his 40 at the same pace as the offensive linemen, LOL. Mariota is the fit and is the face of that franchise and thses hires were not by chance. Lovie even defended him. better get your checkbook ready.
