Freshman quarterback is from my family's new home, so I'm hoping he wins.

I was born and raised in Cartersville. It is very different then what it was 20 years ago. The cost of progress is what they say...

So do some of you still think Tua Turndaballova should have won the Heisman?

The UGA and Clemson game exposed him pretty bad. Get pressure to him and he is a mess.

We love it! Close to all the perks of Atlanta, but a true small town. It reminds us Franklin 30 years ago. Christmas parade was unreal and my hunting lease is 14 miles away.

Bammers talked to me like I was dumb back when they played (can't recall team, A&M maybe) and I said that game told me they were beatable......

I think that was actually Miss State if we are thinking about the same thing. That was the game that made me say "uh oh" because it exposed a big weak point with Tua. They tried to downplay that as being his injury that was the problem, but I saw right through that. 7 man up front defense that blitz's...put pressure on Tua and make him throw the ball quick = bad mojo. It was Bama's defense that won that game for them. Miss State just didn't have the key offense to score points on them, or my guess is, Bama woulda lost that game if they had of.

Clemson took that and expounded on it. It helped a lot too that they capitalized on turn overs.

I hope they learn from the loss, swallow their pride and use it to get better. Humble pie helps us all. Keep calm, carry on, and Roll Tide.

I don't know if it's still there or not but we used to eat breakfast at the 4 way diner on saturdays. Good food and people!

That may have been the game. I still think Tua is an amazing talent, he just doesn't have to face those kind of defenses often. It falls back on the coaches not being able to adjust in my opinion. Clemson was the better team no matter how you slice it.

So what happened last night? I was replacing my wife's radiator and didn't have a chance to see the game, just saw the score before I went to bed.

I finally got to watch the game...I was at work last night.

Wow. Clemson put on a show for sure. I already knew some from what people let out of the bag that were following it at work, and saw some highlites on the TV at one of my breaks. Clemson stopped Bama in the redzone at least 3 or 4 times and got stops on some really nice long drives. That game's yardage gained figures wont match what the score normally would be for those stats. Says a lot about Clemson's defense for sure...Bama get down to the 1 yard line and not be able to break thru for a TD. It looked like one of those games where Clemson could do no wrong. One handed catches? Wow.

Clemson OLine gave the QB time to make throws, and the WRs made some fantastic catches. They ran the ball well enough at times.

Bama moved the ball pretty well, and got inside the 20 several times, but could not punch it in. They had a 1st and goal from the 1/2 yard line once, and did not score. Red zone defense won the game for them imo.

Tua was pressured some and a couple of costly picks, one a pick six for the first score of the game.

Basically Clemson did what the native Americans did after a tribal lacrosse game.... they cut their heads off and paraded around with them on a stick!

They were out played at every position, out hussled, and out coached. Great game. It showed why you never think you're the best until you prove it on the field.

Well that sucked. Bammer got their butt whooped.

Congratulations to Clemson for the first NCAA football 15 win undefeated season.
