I believe he was offsides, but you can't blame him for it. All WR will look to the ref to check alignment. Pay attention next game, every play they look out to get checked.

I googled wide receiver lined up offside. The picture you posted was the second picture shown.

This was the first picture.

Listen, I know refs miss calls all the time and thats just part of it. I have already said more than once that it had no impact on the outcome of the game. But a rule is a rule and you seem to be saying that its ok to break that rule because the ref was the one who lined him up there.


If I asked you what the speed limit was on Rutledge Pike and you told me 70 and then I got pulled over running 70 and then told the cop that GNB is a cop also and he said I could run 70, what would he say?

PS I know the speed limit on Rutledge Pike and its not 70. Ask me how I know. I also told the officer that GnB said 70 was ok and he said dont listen to GnB. :rotf:

I agree they lined him up offsides.

My statement about blaming refs was a generalization, not saying you were blaming them, but I've heard several people on radio and other forums blame that no call on holding as to why we lost.

I think a big part of why we lost happened Monday thru Friday before we arrived in Gainesville.

Have you ever saw an outside WR called for linning up offsides? No.... Because it's almost impossible to line up perfect from 20 to 25 yards from the ball. That's why the ref will assist the WR.... Just fans looking hard for excuses.... Blame the refs... :tu:

Only problem is, on this particular play, the WR Never, not even once, looked to the ref for alignment help.

That was a trick play where the WR throws his hands up and acts confused. The WR knows that the next play he will run by the safties and catch the game winning TD.... Can't believe that he's standing 5 yards from the ref and the ref didn't throw the flag. What a same..... :rotf:

A little dramatic aren't we? Maybe more like going 44 in a 40 MPH zone on Rutledge Pike and drive right by an officer running radar. The officer doesn't pull out and uses officer's discretion since you are only going 4 MPH over the speed limit. He doesn't even stop you. That's what we might have here if anything. I have noticed that no one can remember seeing the outside WR being flagged for lining up offsides in a game.
