TN-KY Line opened at KY -5,

we are going bowling, even if it is the "twra more opportunity bowl"

All it will take is a win against South alabama and Vandy. Throw in the Ky win and we are 7-5 ;)

I didn't know they were even playing. I graduated from South Alabama in the late 1990's. They didn't even have a football team then.

Yes it is. No one will ever remember a runner up or a toilet bowl game
Bet you can't name the starting lineup of kys last champ. team without googleing it. The one and dones will do that to a fan base.

Marcus Teague, Doron Lamb, Terrence Jones, Anthony Davis,.Kyle Wiltzer. Darius Miller was 6 man of the year that year. The only one I might be wrong on is Wiltzer. Kidd-Gilchrist was there now that I remember so he prolly started but I won't change my lineup because I haven't googled lol

The "toilet bowl games" aren't for you. They are for the players. And they absolutely will remember the game, the trip, the experience, etc. Sometimes we forget that everything isn't about us and our opinion isn't the only thing that matters.

LOL

BP must not be on the mailing list anymore. They beat Miss St a few years ago, and have LSU, Auburn, KY, and a home & home with Ole Miss scheduled in the future.

Nope, I went to school and graduated there but was not involved in any on campus activities. I was too busy working a full time job, and fishing at night for extra cash. Heck I didn't even attend graduation.

Me either, so I definitely understand that.

I kept getting stuff in the mail a few years after graduating and my wife would ask if I wanted to look at it. Nope, toss it!

Btw I saw an ESPN special on Joey Jones, SA's first coach. Very interesting. When they started the football program he didn't even have an office. Recruited via cell phone sitting on the steps of the athletic building. All he wanted was to coach football.

I'll have to find the ESPN special.

They are "USA" (University of South Alabama). I haven't had a chance to attend a game yet, but they opened an on-campus stadium in September 2020. Chants of "USA, USA, USA" ring loud in the stadium.
