TN-Memphis BBall 11:00 central!

Admittedly, I haven't watched us play much this year, but the games I did see it was pretty much live by the 3, or die by the 3. So, who knows how we'll shoot.

I know Memphis has had some struggles, but to beat an Alabama team who had beaten Gonzaga is impressive.

YouTube TV is in dispute with ESPN, so no ESPN available until settled. Took all channels off at midnight last night.

I guess I'll go to my dad's and watch it.

Also add playing neutral court, Bridgestone arena. So tempting to go, I've never seen Tennessee play Memphis in person.

Once upon a time I had intention to try and go to this game but not anymore. I think I'll listen to it on the radio from the road if I get left in time.

I'm a "Memphis State" alumni and lifelong Tiger BB Fan...I'm not going to lie, I had started to worry that Penny was 'Josh Pastner 2.0' ....great recruiter but can't coach...

That said, they thoroughly dismantled Alabama and if Penny not been so hard headed regarding rotations, they would most likely still only have one loss today...Iowa State took them to the wood-shed, no doubt....but GA, Mississippi and Murray State should've all been wins if Penny had simply gotten out of his own way.

Vegas favors the Tigers by 5.5 on a 'neutral court' that I bet will look more like a home game for TN...so we'll see.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding but I'm seeing Vols favored by 4.5

I went and looked because I probably would have bet it tigers were 5.5 favorites

However, if I had bet it…tigers would surely win by 10+

Weird....I just re-checked the line and its all over the place now....most services still show MEM by 4-5 but a couple have TN by 4....not sure what's up with that....pretty much a toss up.

This Omicron variant is no joke in how fast it can spread....me, my wife and our son all got it this week....we were all fully vaccinated too. We had to tell our daughter to stay home with the grandkids for Christmas which sucks.

I know for college football they said teams would forfeit if they couldn't play due to Covid. I get that the sports are quite different as fast as number of players and such but are the rules diff?
