This was one I hunted a couple years over in Virginia-found him the third year just above a spring
He liked to work trees with his brow tines.
Not a tooth mark on the antlers-I'm assuming disease got him..

I worked at armold air force base when i was in college.

last time i hunted AEDC, we went by the checking station to see what been taken, and there was a buck there that the wardens were posing for pictures with. easily around a 26" spread, huge 8 pt. we found a few cedars rubbed on that hunt that were 14" to 18" diameter... much of that place is thick as dog hair, hard to see anything. locals told us the bigger bucks went into the neighborhoods surrounding the base after season opened. fences then were like what you'd have around your yard. not been back in years...
