Whether it was from his lack of cardio or from the punishment he took, Nelson was winded after the first round. He was moving forward the entire fight; however, by the 3rd round he was plodding forward. His takedown attempts were weak and his strikes were labored. At one point in the third round he could barely stand up after a failed takedown attempt.
