Va law specifies neither resident or NON resident landowners need a license to hunt their own property. I never buy a license to hunt our farm and I live in TN

That's a good law. Treat landowners equal.

I live in Va. you do not need a license to hunt your family's land (grandmother) you are only allowed 2 antlerted deer per season. 3 antler less deer. This is for the west of the blue ridge. East of the blue ridge mountain is a different story.

Once harvested. You must debone to take across state lines. If you have any more questions then please ask. Be glad to help.

Ohio is same I think, but only extends to spouses & children, not grandchildren.
