No big trips for me this year, so I am sitting on 10 unused days. Decided to take today and tomorrow off and go fish!
Got an air bnb on the coast so I can pull 2 days fishing.
Today was fun, brought a friend. We spotted 20 reds, but only got 6 to eat. Several were in less than 8in water. Only 30 trout or so, all shorts except 2. Water temps are 6d warmer than last Saturday, and I'm thinking the trout are headed back out of the marsh. Picked up another 5 reds while targeting trout.
Buddy wanted his 3 reds and I wanted 1 and kept 1 for the air bnb host. She was thrilled to get it already filled out.
Gotta figure out another game plan for specks tomorrow.
