Vol Haters

Tenneessee is a young team and has a long road ahead, but the haters know that things are changing dramatically for the better on Rocky Top!

Absolutely

Haters? I wouldn't call myself that. More like I choose better things in life to get excited about. You get really tired of the ones that praise em while their up fire somebody when they're down over and over. Sitting by a fire with the family is far more rewarding.

Tennessee was solid from the little bit I saw. they are moving in the right direction. they wouldn't have scheduled this team for their opening home game if they weren't convinced it was a sure win however. But I don't think many envisioned that would be as dominant as they were the entire game

I am a Vol fan but you can't get too excited over last nights performance. Wasn't much of a team to beat.

Poleaxe, sounds like you and I agree. I got too much life to waste it watching some dumb ball game.

What about wasting "too much life" posting on a thread ABOUT some dumb ball game ;) :D ?

Bowl game is more likely now. Anything more is gravy.

BUT, I like gravy :D !

I said that yesterday on here! if football games and talk wAste your life then why click on this topic? Why comment on this topic? I don't understand!

I guarantee it's a waste of time reading all the dumb threads on here or any other message board. Everyone is in charge of how they spend their time and we obviously don't agree on what's dumb or not. That said, it's nice to see the vol faithful having some faith in their program again.

^^^^^ This ^^^^^

Utah St. QB was not as advertised and could barely walk.... :) UT only avg. 2.8 yards per carry against a week defense... :) Time will tell.

They are very quite tonight but they will come out of the woodwork after the Oklahoma game

So I guess you are expecting OU to blow up UT and fans of other teams to point that out..... :)

Probably a good chance both will happen..... :D

Excellent point. College football, like many other sports and activities, brings many families and friends together. Whether it's inviting family and friends over to watch a game in the living room or going to a game and tailgating with family and friends, it can be every bit as much of a family event as sitting around a fire with the family.

I am traveling to South Bend, IN this weekend for an annual reunion with my college buddies. Many of them will bring their families. We will tailgate all afternoon and watch other games while we wait to watch our game in the evening. Everyone will have a great time. We do this once a year. It's the game that brings us all together.

This^^^^^^ I agree I try to watch every TN football game with my dad. it brings us together its what we like to do. we have been to braves baseball games as a family and TN basketball games its family fun. We even have a super bowl get together every year as a family.

for a total of like 110 yards

mean while utah st had an avg of like 4.2

tells me vols cant rush and there rushing d aint all that

vols fans are the same every year
play a no name team and the QB is a Heisman candidate and they are going to win a bunch of games

reality will sit in when they start sec play

oh btw i think they might beat vandy now go vols

Yes they thought they could win it but Utah State is far from a pushover, just look at their games against the power conferences the last few years
