for a Neyland Stadium game is for Texas to curbstomp Georiga in SECCG and Georiga drop below Tennessee in the ranking as a 3 loss team.Probably not gonna happen but there is a sliver of hope!Even if Penn St loses big to Oregon I dont see them dropping below Tennessee!Whats your opinion?Personally,I believe Vols can beat Ohio State if that is the way it shakes out!

I don't know about SMU dropping out if its a close game. I'd love to see a home game and was hoping we would be ahead of Ohio State but that Arkansas loss is tied to us as a major mark whereas other teams with the same type of loss don't seem to get the same punishment.

Tennessee Baseball won the National Championship. Tennessee basketball is 8-0, ranked #3 in the nation, and has as good a chance to win the National Championship as anyone. The powers that be aren't going to take a chance on Tennessee winning the NC in football, so they are going to give them the toughest draw possible. Anti-Tennessee bias is real, especially at ESPN.

So laughable. Let me pull out the stick figures and crayons once a again. ALABAMA just backdoored their way into the playoffs JUST like TN did. YALL would not be in the playoffs without the help of 5 teams losing and yall know it. So quit playing childrens game acting all big and bad like yall deserve being in there and I won't sit there and pound my chest like ALABAMA deserves to be in there because I am going to say I don't think they deserve to be in there anymore than the vols do. But hey it is what it is with this 12 team playoff BS.

YALL (and I mean the collective body of the NCAA not just TNDEER for the people that can't comprehend what yall means) been lobbying/yapping about expanding the playoffs SERIOUSLY since around 2012 and now its here. You have probably 7 teams that clearly have NO bidness playing for the NC. You might make a argument for the 6th Team OSU because everyone knows those rivalry games can go either way. they have played pretty strong all season and most of the talking heads before the michigan game had them winning the NC . So there is that.

So there is 7 teams that is going to waste everyone's time. Maybe one or two of pull a michigan this past Saturday and disrupts some great teams path to the NC and then gets buried later down the road. Or they wind up hurting some star talent on opposing teams and wrecking their chances on the path to the NC. I sure hope the NCAA fixes this mess. With ALABAMA in maybe enough of "YALL" will whine about it and it will force them to do something about. Please do. I need to hear some whining about it for the next 2 years. Especially if some miracle happens and ALABAMA makes a deep run at it..which I would NOT count on.

I did watch UTe beat Syracuse last night. They have a really good basketball team and last years baseball team was great.

They are correct. However, I see it as a good thing. I haven't had the pleasure of seeing alabama lose 4 games in one season and Bandwagon Nation flooding the South with delicious tears in years.
