Is your lower unit gear ratio 2.42:1? If so you have a command thrust style lower unit that is for large boats with heavy loads that is designed to spin larger diameter props. You won't be able to run much faster than that.I'd love to know the pitch on that prop to get that performance. I have a 60 Suzuki on a 16' Triton only getting 34 mph on gps.

Mine is 10.375 by 15p 3 blade, engine rpm is 6050 at WOT on plane and trimmed up.11.75 x 15p is the factory SS 3 blade prop
