Yes, sort of- but I hear way more similar stories about crossbow limbs breaking.

Harvest Archery and Doc really took care of me. He had a replacement limb in the shop - put it on, paper-tuned, and a new D loop in an hour AT NO CHARGE! When I asked how much it was, he said "Nothing, that's why you buy from me"

They've earned 100% of my business, and can't recommend them enough!

They got my Core SR fixed thursday, including redoing the top serving as it was showing wear. He called me and said "bullet hole with the first shot."

They're great guys there and definitely earn the support.

I always wanted 1, cost is a little more but quality is there and the string can be changed pretty easy compared to a compound

I had a real nice 45 lb Pearson recurve about 1984 that 2 days before the season opened that broke. I was shooting a few arrows and at one shot( its last) I heard a pop/crack and the top limb cracked at the string groove. Sad.

I've had it for almost a year. It wasn't bad, or necessarily needing replaced yet, but while they had it in the press they just went ahead and re-did it.
