Another slow day at Tigrett. 2 greenheads and a hen. Foggy, cloudy, no wind and 50 degrees. Not good conditions for duck movement. I'm not going back till Thursday. Hopeful for more action through the weekend.

I ended our duck lease this year. Looking forward to sleeping in and saving some money. Headed to OK for a guided hunt on Thursday. They're smacking em' out that way.

We had pool 3. I was in there for about 2 hours Saturday and bounced. I saw all I needed..

With 2 teal in the bag, as bad as the hunting has been, it might not have been.

My brother and his buddies picked up 13 woodies and 3 gadwall yesterday in his little McNairy County duck hole. It rarely ever produces any big ducks but they consistently whack woodies out of it.

Its been bad but the rain yesterday has a couple rivers at or near action/flood stage. Should get some birds moving. Maybe we will get a couple more inches tonight. River out of the bank and the front this weekend may make for a good hunt or 2.

Killing decently at the Board Pit but it's been a grind. I'm ready for this upcoming weather change.

The Mississippi isn't high but is projected to crest at Tiptonville on Sunday. Always a plus when our rivers are out and the Mississippi is crested here. Really hoping for 2+ inches in a hurry overnight.

I snooped at White Rock the other day and the river is low. The rain I hope helps with the smaller rivers but afraid it will just dump right out with a low miss.
